Highlights of this trip include the Mt. Dhaulagiri icefall at Kalopani, visiting Muktinath Monastery, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindu Vaishnavas and Tibetan Buddhists. Difficulty level



Prior trekking experience is not necessary for taking part in an easy trek. Anyone who is fit and healthy enough to walk for 4-6 hours a day can manage moderate treks. These treks only involve lower altitude with daily ascents of around 300-600m on well-maintained paths and with easy access to local amenities.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel, welcome dinner, overnight Hotel.

Day 02

Drive to Pokhara (800m), overnight Hotel .

Day 03

Morning flight to Jomsom (2800m), trek to Kagbeni (2900m), 3.5 hours, overnight teahouse.

Day 04

Trek to Muktinath (3710m) via Jhong Village , 5-6 hours, overnight teahouse.

Day 05

Trek to Marpha (2670m), 6-7 hours, overnight teahouse.

Day 06

Trek to Kalopani (2560m), 6-7 hours, overnight teahouse.

Day 07

Trek to Tatopani Hot Springs (1190m), 6-7 hours, overnight teahouse.

Day 08

Drive to Pokhara (800m), overnight Hotel .

Day 09

Free Day in Pokhara*, overnight Hotel .

Day 10

Drive to Kathmandu, overnight Hotel Tibet, farewell dinner.
