Difficulty level



Difficult treks involve you walking for at least 6-8 hours or more each day. You can expect to cross steep hilly terrain and occasional high passes with daily ascends and descends of around 500-1000m. These trails take you to remote environments with high altitude and extreme weather likely. Only basic facilities are available on some nights. Previous trekking experience, physical fitness and positive attitude are therefore essential.

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel, welcome dinner, overnight Hotel.

Day 2

Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu, preparation day, overnight Hotel.

Day 3

Fly to Tumlingtar, drive to to Khandbari (1040m),overnight hotel.

Day 4

Trek to Chichila (1980m),5-6 hours, overnight tent.

Day 5

Trek to Mudhe (1945m), 5-6 hours, overnight tent.

Day 6

Trek to Sedua (1500m), 5 hours, overnight tent.

Day 7

Trek to Tashigaon (2100m), 4-5 hours, overnight tent.

Day 8

Trek to Khongma (3500m), 4-6 hours, overnight tent.

Day 9

Trek to Mumbuk (3540m), 5-7 hours, overnight tent.

Day 10

Trek to Nehe Kharka (3700m), 5-6 hours, overnight tent.
