Located in Gorkha region, Manaslu Circuit trekking route and side trail to Dhorat, a Tamang village, to Shree Bishnu Primary School offers many hidden natural gems. A major highlight for the discerning traveler is the fact that the area sees limited tourists due to its proximity to the Manaslu restricted trekking area.
These treks typically require you to do 6-7 hours each day over steep hilly terrain on usually rough trails but with no real extremes of weather. Treks in this category can include trekking to elevations of up to 5500m with daily ascends of around 400-700m.When trekking at higher altitudes, your body needs to adjust to lower levels of oxygen and this provides added physical challenge to the trek. It is important to be physically fit and to prepare your body by doing regular exercise prior to embarking on your trek. Previous hiking or camping experience is preferable.
